About Coleen
Coleen D. Trimble
I'm Coleen D. Trimble, a Speaker, Author and Pioneer.
As a senior Institutional Investment Consultant, Trimble advised Endowments and Foundations and large Corporate Retirement Plan trustees on the investment of billions of dollars. Her research and consulting encompassed all aspects of investment strategy and policy issues, including Defined Contribution Plan best practices. Trimble also led the consulting firm’s early research on issues related to the burgeoning field of Behavioral Finance, evidenced by her papers and a speaking role at an early Behavioral Finance Workshop presented by Harvard Institute for International Research. Trimble holds a Master of Business Degree (MBA), and is a certified trainer through the Empowerment Institute in New York.
Trimble has been a frequent speaker at workshops and conferences. Presentations on Defined Contribution Issues, Behavioral Finance, and her initiatory workshops “Heart of Money and Lessons on Wall Street” were given to companies and organizations. Trimble also directed pre-retirement educational seminars onsite for corporate employees, taught an investment course, and has been a public speaker for a wide variety of financial and non-financial audiences interested in money and personal growth. A series of proprietary articles entitled, “Money and Meaning,” were published by an Institutional Investment Record-keeper and distributed to millions of plan participants via the client’s quarterly newsletter and online portal.
Trimble was indoctrinated in the traditional view of investments, markets, and money throughout her academic and professional life. Beginning her career as one of the few female stockbrokers in the early 1980s, Trimble accepted a position with a Wall Street firm (based in Kansas City) working primarily with small business owners and building a practice that ranked in the top 25% of all brokers within the Midwest region for assets under management.
Trimble’s life-work has evolved into a pioneering framework for deconstructing the power of money, embracing the transformative capacity of emotion and reclaiming an inner abundance. Healing & Wholeness through Money is a thought-provoking presentation tailored to individuals and groups. Coleen offers education through BELULAR® seminars, conferences, coaching & consulting.
She is currently writing a book entitled: The Shadows of Money: What to Do When Money Replaces Inner Abundance.
